Transferring credits

Start by going to your organization's dashboard and navigate to the inventory tab.

There you can see your whole credit inventory. Find the project and vintage that you want to transfer and press the actions menu button as displayed in the image ๐Ÿ‘†From the actions menu dropdown choose Transfer .

This will take you to the Transfer credit flow.

There you need to insert information for this transfer action.

  1. To: the ICR organization that is the receiver of the credits, here you can search for the organization or insert the ID of the receiving organization (found on the receiving organization's dashboard).

  2. Credit: the credit to send - which defaults on the credit-row from your inventory that you pressed on.

  3. Total credits to transfer: the amount of credits, in tCO2, to transfer to the receiver.

  4. Transfer comment: an optional comment for the transfer.

  5. Transfer and retire: If chosen this action will transfer the credits and retire them automatically, immediately, on behalf of the receiver.

If the receiver does not exist as an organization on ICR you can also choose to switch the Existing receiver switch and insert custom info for the organization that will receive the credits, we will then automatically create an account for that organization and send them an email with instructions on how they can claim their account and credit.

Note that the name and email of the person responsible for claiming the account and credits for Receiving Organization is included and required.

Then you can press continue and review the transfer action.

If all the information is correct you can confirm the transfer and confirm again on the popup window.

After the transfer, which can take up to 1minute, has completed you can navigate to the Transactions tab on your organization's dashboard where you can see the status of the transfer and download a receipt for it.

Transfer & Retire

If you want to transfer and retire the credits immediately on behalf of the receiving organization then check the Transfer and retire box and supplying the required retirement reason.

Then you can finish as before by pressing the Continue button and confirming the action.

Again you can see the transfer on your organization's dasbhoard under the Transactions tab.

Meanwhile the retirement is visible from the receiving organization's dashboard.
